About Us

Pearl Legacy Enterprises, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, started as a life-long dream for our founder, Ketu’rah “Kay” Biggins. In January 2015, Pearl F. Biggins, Kay’s paternal grandmother sadly passed away from cancer. In honor of her loving memory, Kay felt inspired to start an organization dedicated to helping aging adults. Kay’s vision became a step closer to reality when she met Carol Molina, a like-minded individual who felt called to work with seniors because of her late grandfather, Jorge Torres.

In December 2022, these two dynamic women teamed up to honor their respective beloved grandparents. Together, Kay and Carol have built a dedicated team of individuals whose goal is to open an adult day center that will cater to the physical, emotional, and social well-being of aging adults.

Mission Statement

At the heart of Pearl Senior Center is a mission to successfully impact the quality of life of the aging community with passion, empowerment, accountability, respect, and liveliness.

Vision Statement

The vision of Pearl Senior Center is to be a second home for seniors where they can be surrounded by a caring community that celebrates their unique journeys, histories, contributions, and multicultural heritages. The center will measure its success by the happiness of its participants and make them feel at home away from home where they know how important and valued they are. In addition, it’s a necessity for the seniors to feel that Pearl Senior Center has positively impacted their lives in all dimensions of wellness: social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual, and physical.
